Master “The Dip Your Toe in Resources” for severe trauma clients, and troubleshoot key issues like consent, containment, dissociation, and reprocessing blocks.
In this session, we move into advanced stabilization techniques crucial for maintaining client safety and efficacy when working with complex trauma. The discussion will focus on “The Dip Your Toe in Resources,” providing participants with the knowledge to list and describe how to conduct at least three of these resources, which tend to be more tolerable starting places for clients with severe trauma. Furthermore, we will address practical troubleshooting issues, including Consent, Troubleshooting, Containment, Dissociation, and Blocks that commonly arise when severe trauma is present. This session covers pages 68-103 of the book, helping participants manage complex clinical presentations before engaging in reprocessing.
