OVERVIEW

What This Vlog Is About

Since Michael Pollan’s book How to Change Your Mind was published, psychedelics made a comeback into our world. In the 1950s and 1960s, psychedelics had been used for the treatment of trauma, addiction, and depression. These drugs, often called entheogens, have been shown to be very effective for treatment of mental health conditions. Over the past few years, there has been a new wave of responsible and safe psychedelic use. Cities like Denver have decriminalized psilocybin mushrooms, and many therapists are waiting for psychedelics to become legal, to integrate them into the practice of psychotherapy. In this interview with Rotem Brayer, Adam O’Brien shares his knowledge about integrating EMDR therapy and psychedelic psychotherapy.
