EMDR EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY
If you want to avoid years of physical therapy, pain and fatigue, you may want to consider getting some EMDR equipment. But where do you start? Here you will find anything you need to know about EMDR equipment, tools and technology.
EMDR EQUIPMENT FOR BILATERAL STIMULATION
Neurotek has been selling EMDR equipment since 1992. The most commonly used product by beginner EMDR therapists is the EMDR tappers, or TAC/ AudioScan (price range between $140-$300). Neurotek also sells the EMDR light bars, that range between $470-$680. Not cheap for a metal bar that sits on a tripod.
EMDR Kit makes EMDR equipment that looks and feels you’re in the 21st century. The light bar has a more modern look and the pulsars are wireless, if you buy the wireless kit. The classic kit, includes the lightbar, wired pulsars, headphones and a remote and is priced at €465. The bluetooth operated kit will cost you €525.
TheraTapper makes wired tappers that look very similar to the ones made by Neurotek. At a slightly lower price ($115-$148) you will get very similar tappers to the ones sold by Neurotek.
a word about ONLINE EMDR TOOLS
EMDR should be done with caution, especially with clients who have a history of trauma. While some online EMDR tools offer "self-EMDR" as a self-help technique, please make sure you use these tools wisely. Online EMDR tools should be used with special attention to safety.
